Marshlight is a group started by Daniel in tribute to the great Warne Marsh. The band gathers and performs periodically, exploring the American repertoire of jazz standards and compositions and a set of original tunes.

onthetrail showcases the young band in fresh form over 1 original composition and 3 loosely performed standards. The rhythm section of Pete Weiss and Elvin Rodrigues provide energetic backing to Daniel's creative excursions on guitar. The style of the band remains rooted in classic jazz with a passionate and slightly aggressive approach. On the original "JC" the group is joined by frequent collaborator Jackson Harvey.
