After years of incorporating the sound of free jazz into his releases, guitarist/composer/producer Daniel Casares comes out with his first proper free jazz outing featuring 5 tracks that explore tonal and atonal sonorities and flowing structures.

Thoroughly inspired by saxophonist/producer Sam Gendel, Daniel utilizes the saxophone as the main vehicle for his psychedelic creations, which also include acoustic drums, synth-bass, and electric piano. The music on Rural Suite was influenced by images of the countryside that surround the artist everyday, at times evoking bucolic landscapes.

Daniel Casares is a jazz guitarist, composer, and producer from A Coruña, Spain. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2018 and completed a master's degree at SOAS University of London in 2022. Daniel released the EP "Villa Bonita" in September 2022 on HOUT Records.
