Jackson Harvey's second release finds him in a trio setting with American bassist Lee Marshall and Daniel Casares on drums. The recording took place during one day in Daniel's studio, taking advantage of the fact that Lee was in Galicia visiting from Arizona.

Orange features 7 loose compositions by Jackson packed with high energy and fresh interplay from the group. The saxophonist stretches out quite generously, sometimes pushing towards psychedelia with a fuzzed-up sound. Lee and Daniel form a solid and adventurous rhythm section, flowing from deep grooves to an abstract jazz style. The EP shows Jackson leaving softer sonorities towards a more distinctively avant-garde and aggressive approach.
